Most common complaints

Leader, to avoid or reduce discomforts most common in the first months of pregnancy, you can advise about the following care:

Sore breasts

To reduce the soreness in the breast, it is necessary to wear a bra, preferably with a wide strap, to support their increased weight. The areola bumps should not be squeezed, as they can cause inflammation.

Dizziness

It is common that the blood pressure gets lower during pregnancy and the pregnant woman feels dizzy. Therefore, it is good that she feeds at shorter intervals and always stands slower. When she feels dizzy, she should lie down and take a slow, deep breath.

Mood swings

Hormone changes, anxiety, and the fear that something will happen to the baby make the pregnant woman much more sensitive. She can cry or laugh at anything. It is good to talk with the pregnant woman and her family, explaining that mood swings are part of pregnancy and, therefore, it is necessary to have more patience.

Nausea and vomiting

To reduce these discomforts, the pregnant woman needs to eat small amounts of food several times a day. Softer foods and warm or cold temperatures are more appropriate in these situations. Drinking cold water also helps, as does eating sore fruits, and avoiding fatty and spicy foods. Drinking liquid during meals is not advised.

The urge to vomit generally happens when the pregnant woman wakes up, smells a strong smell like perfume, gasoline, or wax, or brushes her teeth. To reduce the urge to vomit, it is good for the pregnant woman to eat as soon as she wakes up, giving preference to dry foods, avoiding prolonged fasting, eating six to eight small meals a day, and avoiding lying down just after meals. Brushing your teeth without toothpaste, just with water, also helps.

Some pregnant women can feel nauseous a lot, with frequent vomiting, which makes sleep difficult, affects the appetite, and can dehydrate the body. To prevent dehydration, it is important to drink lots of fluids.

Weakness, parlor, and excess of saliva

When the pregnant woman becomes pale, weak, and has no desire to do things, she can be anemic or malnourished. To prevent these diseases, the pregnant woman should eat foods rich in iron and vitamins, according to the guidelines on healthy eating in Stage 2.

Weaknesses and faint spells can happen after sudden changes of position or when the pregnant woman goes without food for a long time. Leader: to prevent these problems, advise the pregnant woman to eat as soon as she wakes up and avoid prolonged fasting. If the pregnant woman feels weak, advise her to lie on her left side and breathe calmly and deeply.

At the beginning of the pregnancy, it is common for the pregnant woman to have a lot of saliva. It is good for her to swallow saliva and drink two liters of water a day or more.
