The Pastoral Care for Children articulates partnerships, agreements and receives donations to keep up with more than 1.3 million children, ages zero to six years and pregnant women in more than 36,000 communities in Brazil, in the areas of health, education, nutrition and citizenship.
Individuals and corporations can collaborate with the work of the Pastoral Care for Children, donating equipment or money. Donations by individuals have no tax deduction.
Donations made by corporations, taxed by the actual profit can be deducted from the Income Tax up to 2% limit in operating profit and as the rule set in Article 13, § 2, III of Law 9,249 of 12/26/1995
