Ties of Love - 4

PREGNANCY MONTHS 4, 5, AND 6

Anemia is a common disease in pregnancy. It causes tiredness, a lack of desire to do things, and little appetite. In the baby, it causes underweight, and they get weak.

In order not to have anemia, in addition to eating healthy foods, you should take the iron supplement that is prescribed in the prenatal care appointment. In some countries, it is given for free at the health service.

To avoid passing gas, heartburn, and poor digestion, eat slowly while chewing the food well.

The affection that the baby receives in the mother’s womb is a sign of God’s sweetness, softness, and deep love!

Hello mom! Now I can move, open and close my eyes, move my hands, kick, suck my fingers, and make faces. I already know your voice and your dad. I like it when you talk to me and when you stroke Mommy’s belly.

It is common for the feet to swell and appear to have varicose veins in the legs. This happens because the uterus grows and squeezes some veins in the belly, making it difficult for the blood to return from the legs to the heart. To reduce swelling, go for walks and avoid sitting or lying down for too long. When you are lying down, place a support under your legs and lift them higher.

Take care of your teeth! Avoid sweet foods to avoid cavities and gum problems. Brush your teeth, tongue, and gums after each meal, and floss at least once a day.

Because of the hormones in pregnancy, it is common to have gum bleeding. Even if this happens, keep taking care of your mouth by cleaning it. Talk about that with a health professional at the prenatal care appointment.

You can also use a very thick sewing thread as dental floss, or very thin strips of a milk carton or plastic bags, which should be clean.
