Immediately look for a health service if some of these signs appear.
Two diseases can cause problems for the health of the pregnant woman and the baby. One of them is the urinary tract infection, which if not treated in time can cause a kidney infection, miscarriage, and cause the baby to be born prematurely.
To prevent urinary tract infections, drink more fluids, go to the bathroom whenever you feel like it, and empty your bladder well.
Another disease that can appear during pregnancy is eclampsia. This disease makes you feel a headache, and your face, hands, and feet get very swollen. If this happens, promptly go to the health service, and explain what you are feeling.
If these diseases are treated soon, the pregnancy can continue to the end with no further problems.
Although most pregnancies are smooth, it is always good to know beforehand where to go in case there is any problem. Ask about it at the prenatal appointment.
Talk to your family, friends, and neighbors to see who can help you in case there is a problem and how you can get faster access to the health service.
