What develops
It is in the first year of life that the baby develops complex language skills. Therefore, the family should stimulate, talk, tell stories, sing and play, a lot with him. When the family pays attention and tries to understand what the baby wants to communicate, he learns to use gestures to say and ask for what he wants. The most important thing is to always talk, repeat the words and speak clearly.
The family can also play various sounds with the baby, such as: imitating animal noises, car noises, airplane noises. Play with the clap baby, say goodbye, make faces and smile. So they are teaching other ways to communicate.
Long before starting to speak, the baby is able to use eyes, facial expressions and gestures to communicate with others. It also has the ability to discriminate speech sounds. Reading stories to the baby is a way of playing with words and pictures and also provides a pleasant activity that develops the imagination.
