What develops
At Pastoral da Criança we take care of the baby's development from the mother's womb. Therefore, it is essential that the baby's well-being is considered from the beginning of pregnancy, preferably planned and expected with great attention, affection and love. The important thing is to be attentive and realize that the children's play begins with observation.
We know that from the mother's womb the baby already begins its learning process. This period is a great opportunity to stimulate the development of babies.
In the first months of life, the baby is able to pay attention to movements, listen to sounds, stay tight in the lap, follow things with his eyes, hold tight with the little hand and even change hands. This is the time to start proposing activities that favor the development of skills. In play, it improves the senses of sight, hearing, touch and all its movements.

Type of joke
- During breastfeeding, look at the baby, take care and offer lots of affection.
- Play with the baby's little hand and let him hold your hand tight.
- Play caressing and touching the baby's feet.
- Giving him a lap, walking outdoors, talking, singing, clapping and hugging him.
