How does e-Training work?

You are participating in a new way of training to become a Leader of Pastoral Care for Children through E-TRAINING, all the content in an electronic version, the e-Guide. Our purpose is to give greater reach to training new leaders, reducing the time we take today to train them.

To facilitate the learning and improvement of new leaders, each stage will be divided into three levels:

BASIC is all the mandatory content the leader needs to know to follow up on a child and pregnant woman at that stage of life.

COMPLEMENTARY is the content that will help the leader deepen the subjects covered in the basic content.

OPTIONAL is the most advanced content that can be useful to increase the knowledge of the leader who is interested in knowing more about each subject.
Each stage will have the following structure, divided into levels:

The contents are structured by subjects. The main subjects covered in the topics are: prenatal care, healthy eating, vaccination, breastfeeding, child development, hygiene, and nutritional status, among others, focused on the health of pregnant women and babies. Content on the mission and practice of the Pastoral Care for Children leader is also covered. Within the topics, we will have, in addition to the contents, two buttons:

“Practice” Button: These are questions that contextualize the theoretical content in concrete situations. It will not be considered as an assessment, but as a help for the new leader to fix the content of the topics. To help the learning, each answer will have a justification for it, showing where there is a mistake and a hit, and why.

“Practice completed” Button: It will work as a template, where all the questions answered in the Practice will be saved, as well as their justifications.
Assessment: To advance through the stages of the e-Guide, the leader must take one assessment within each stage. In other words, to complete a given stage, each leader must take three different assessments, corresponding to each level (basic, complementary, and optional).

Visit Practice: to better train the new leaders, we provide, through this button, the possibility of training visits without the need to send unnecessary information to our database. The visit practice can be done as many times as necessary.

By default, all stages are open for study at the basic level. Progress to other levels within the stage will be achieved through taking a staged assessment at that level, being approved with a hit score greater than 60%. In case you cannot reach the average, you can repeat it as many times es you want until you reach the necessary average.
